Most land clearing contractors in Lexington offer standard forestry mulching, which grinds brush into wood chips and leaves them on your land. At CROWN Clearing & Removal, we load and haul all material away so your ground is clean, level, and ready to use.
A mulching attachment grinds standing brush, briars, and small trees directly where they stand, leaving a layer of heavy wood chips across your property. Nothing is loaded, nothing is hauled off, and no dumpster fees are incurred.
Best Used For: Large undeveloped acreage, rough trail clearing, or land where ground usability, mowing, or construction is not an immediate priority.
Our crew clears your land, loads all trees and brush into our own trucks and dumpsters, and hauls everything off-site. What you get back is clean, usable ground ready for mowing, construction, or immediate real estate listing.
Best Used For: Residential lots, construction site preparation, property listings, and yards where ground must be spotless and build-ready.
Real ranges, published. Nobody else in this market will give you a number before a site visit, and you should ask them why.
Light brush and undergrowth. A back corner, a side yard, a fence line that has got away from you.
Dense brush plus small trees. The common one: a lot nobody has touched in several years.
Clearing and grading prep for new construction or an addition. The plan drives the figure, and anything larger or staged across a development is quoted.
We work to a job minimum, and we only charge for work completed. You get the number before anyone starts: send two or three photos and we'll price the actual job.
Photos for a fast ballpark, a site walk for the firm figure on anything bigger. Either way you know the price before we start.
Two or three photos and the address gets you a ballpark within two hours, guaranteed. For larger or awkward ground we come out and walk it, no charge either way.
Full clear, selective clearing or site prep: we agree what stays and what goes before anything is cut.

The material is loaded and hauled off, the ground is left clean, and we walk it with you before we go.
Extremely helpful and nice, was hired for land clearing and site preparation they removed pesky honey suckle. Definitely going to hire them in the future.
Very quick from contact to in home to remove some flooring. Once on site they got straight to work and did an outstanding job! Very reasonable price for the work done. Will continue to use them for all future needs.
Very hard workers that cleaned out a whole house that was trashed and filthy. Very polite and considered. Would definitely recommend this company!

(859) 213-6077We haul it away. That is the main difference between us and a forestry mulching outfit: mulching grinds the brush and leaves the chips on your ground, which is a field of wood chips you still have to live with. We run our own trucks and dumpsters, so the material leaves the property and you get ground you can actually use.
Brush, weeds, vines and thorny undergrowth; small trees under roughly 20 feet; grinding the stumps those trees leave; and clearing along fence lines, driveways and property lines. The cleared material is loaded and hauled off, the site is left clean, and we walk it with you before we go.
A small residential lot with light brush and undergrowth runs $400 to $1,200. A medium or overgrown lot with dense brush and small trees runs $1,200 to $3,500 and up. Full site preparation is quoted on the plan. What moves the number is property size, vegetation density, how accessible the ground is, and whether the material is hauled away. We work to a job minimum and we only charge for work completed.
Yes. Stump grinding is part of the tree removal work rather than a separate trade you have to book. We take trees under roughly 20 feet and grind the stumps they leave. Anything taller is a job for a tree service, and we will say so rather than take it on.
It depends on the size of the ground, how dense the growth is and how easily we can get equipment to it, which is why we give you the time along with the price rather than guessing at it here. Ask when you get your quote and you will get a real window, not a range that suits us.
Yes. Haul-off is the point of hiring us rather than a mulching service. How much material there is and where it has to go is one of the four things that moves the price, so it is priced into the quote rather than added afterwards.
No. Plenty of the land clearing we do is for people who live out of state, are selling a property, or have inherited one. We can quote from photos, agree the plan with you, and send you the walkthrough photos at the end.
