Different routes, and the same crew and truck does all of them. If yours turns out to be bigger than you thought once the garage door is open, that is a normal Tuesday and not a new quote: it just moves you onto the cleanout page, which is better value per item anyway.

Too heavy for two people and a hatchback.
Furniture, mattresses, appliances and bulky goods. One item or a few together, from $100, and we will tell you if your own city takes it free.
What single item removal costs
For trades working to a schedule.
Drywall, lumber, roofing and renovation waste cleared off a jobsite, booked around your programme rather than our diary.
How we clear a jobsiteReal jobs, photographed from the same spot before we started and after the last load left.
We would rather tell you now than take $100 for a job the city would have done. Here is where the line actually falls.
If you are on Lexington city waste collection, bulky items are collected free. You request a pickup through LexCall on 311 or (859) 425-2255, online, or in the app, and collection is normally made within five business days. It covers more than people expect: mattresses and box springs, grills with the charcoal or gas tank taken out, and appliances including refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, stoves and water heaters. Refrigerator and freezer doors have to be removed first. Tires are limited to four car or small truck tires a week, off the rims.
What the city will not take at the curb. Televisions, microwaves, computers, printers, humidifiers and other electronics are excluded from bulky collection and go to the Electronic Recycling Center instead, and humidifiers are not accepted there either. Appliances containing oil are also excluded.
So call the city, not us, if you have one or two qualifying items, you can get them to the curb yourself, and five business days suits you. That is a genuinely good service and it costs nothing.
Call us if it needs to be gone today or tomorrow · there is more than a couple of items · it cannot reach the curb without someone carrying it · it is a whole garage, basement, unit or property · it is one of the things the city excludes · or the property is outside Lexington's collection area. Every city in our service area runs its own programme on its own terms, so check yours before assuming it works the same way.
This is a plain-English summary of a city service, not a statement on its behalf, and the rules change. LexCall is the authority on what will be collected from your address. If you are not sure which side of the line your pile falls on, send a photo and we will tell you straight, including when the answer is "the city will take that". Send a photo and ask
Junk removal is normally priced by how much of the truck you fill, which you cannot judge from your driveway and they will not tell you until they are standing in it. That is the part we changed.
Search junk removal prices in Lexington and almost nothing comes back. The quote arrives when the crew does, the pile is always bigger than it looked, and by then saying no is awkward and you have already taken the morning off.
It is also why people put these jobs off for years: not the cost, the not knowing.
Send two or three photos and your ZIP and you get a real number within two hours, guaranteed, from the published ranges below. The same crew does single items and full property cleanouts, so if the one sofa turns out to be the whole basement, it is the same phone call rather than a different company.
And if the honest answer is that the city will take it for nothing, that is what we will tell you.
Very hard workers that cleaned out a whole house that was trashed and filthy. Very polite and considered. Would definitely recommend this company!
Published ranges for the three jobs people actually book. Where yours lands inside a range comes down to volume and access, and photos settle both.
One item, or two or three together. Curbside is the low end; upstairs or a tight doorway is the high end.
Priced on how much of the truck it fills, from a few items to multiple rooms' worth.
A single garage or partial basement through to a packed space or a whole-property clear.
Our smallest published job is $100. If it is a single item you can get to the curb, read the free city collection above first, and if the job is a structure rather than a pile, demolition is the right page.
Four steps, and you only pay for work completed.
Send two or three photos and your ZIP, or call. You get a real number back within two hours, guaranteed.
Same-day and next-day slots where we have them, or a time that suits you if it is not urgent.
You point at what goes. We carry it out and load it, no moving anything to the curb first.
The space is swept before we leave, and everything goes out on our truck rather than into your bin.
Very quick from contact to in home to remove some flooring. Once on site they got straight to work and did an outstanding job! Very reasonable price for the work done. Will continue to use them for all future needs.
Extremely helpful and nice, was hired for land clearing and site preparation they removed pesky honey suckle. Definitely going to hire them in the future.
Based in Lexington, working the surrounding counties. Drive time matters more on a small haul than on anything else we do, so ZIP is the first thing we ask for.
The six we get asked most, answered properly rather than deflected to a phone call.
Send a photo. If the city will take it for free, or it is really a clearing or demolition job, we will say so and point you at the right place. It costs you nothing either way.
(859) 213-6077Furniture, appliances, mattresses, yard waste, construction debris and general household clutter, single items through to whole garages, basements and properties. Paint, chemicals and tires we do take, at an additional charge, because they cost more to dispose of properly. What we cannot take is asbestos and regulated hazardous material, medical or biohazard waste, fuel, solvents and pressurised tanks, and standing trees over roughly twenty feet: those need specialist routes, and we will tell you which one rather than leave you guessing. If you are not sure about something, send a photo before the truck is booked rather than after.
Yes, same-day and next-day options are available, subject to what is already on the schedule. Quotes are guaranteed within two hours between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Saturday, so the earlier in the day you send photos the better the chance of a slot today. If it has to be today, call rather than use the form; the phone is faster for a same-day booking.
Volume first: how much of the truck the load fills. Then access, because a curbside pickup is a different job from a second-floor carry; then weight and material, since concrete, dirt and shingles cost more to dispose of than household items; and then timing. Single items run $100 to $280, a standard load $100 to $640 and up, and a garage or basement cleanout $280 to $1,280 and up. You get the number before we start, not when the truck is already in your driveway.
No. You point at what goes and we do the carrying and loading. That is what the price covers, and it is the main difference between us and a free curbside collection, which needs everything at the curb before the truck arrives. Nothing has to be moved, disassembled or bagged up beforehand.
Yes, licensed, bonded and insured, and we handle disposal responsibly rather than tipping everything into the nearest skip. Ask and we will send the certificate of insurance before you commit to anything; property managers and contractors usually want it on file before the first job, and that is a normal request rather than an awkward one.
Lexington and the surrounding counties: Georgetown, Nicholasville, Richmond, Frankfort, Winchester, Versailles and Paris, with the ZIP codes we cover listed above. One thing worth knowing if you are outside Lexington: the free bulky-item collection described further up this page is Lexington-Fayette's own programme and applies to households on city waste collection. Other cities run their own, on their own terms, so check yours before assuming it works the same way.
Two or three photos and your ZIP is enough to price most hauls. Nobody has to walk through the house first, and nobody is going to comment on what is in the pictures.
