Single item removal, in detailOne item or a houseful. The thing worth knowing here before you plan anything: in Jessamine County the household-waste facility is a place you drive to. It does not come to you.

Most towns in our area run some form of curbside bulky collection. This is the one where the answer to “who will come and get it?” is nobody, and that changes how you plan a clearout here.
It is a drop-off facility, and the county says so plainly. “The Convenience Center is a drop-off facility only to we do not offer pick-up service.” That is the whole local rule, and it is the single most useful sentence on this page. There is no number to ring for a curbside collection because there is no curbside collection.
The address and the hours. The center is at 123 Hendren Way, Nicholasville, Kentucky 40356, open “Monday to Friday 8AM to 4PM.” Those hours are the practical barrier for most households: it is open exactly when most people are at work, and closed the two days a clearout usually happens.
The recycling rules are specific. “Size of cardboard and recycling pieces should be no larger than 2 feet x 2 feet,” and “paper products should be clean, dry and loose; never bag recyclables.” A flat-packed wardrobe box is not going in whole.
There is a periodic exception. The county runs a County-Wide Clean-Up with “free residential debris disposal,” which is genuinely worth waiting for if your timing happens to line up with it. It runs on the county’s calendar rather than yours.
The Convenience Center is the household-waste facility and is separate from the free Brush Pile at Shun Pike, which has its own rules and is covered on the Nicholasville page. This is a plain-English summary of published material, not legal advice, and Jessamine County Environmental Services is the authority on its own facility.
One item or a houseful: loaded, hauled and disposed of, with the recyclable and donatable part separated out rather than tipped. See the full junk removal service

Single item removal, in detail
The classic Jessamine job.
Garages off Brannon Crossing and Catnip Hill, emptied in one visit instead of three weekday trips to Hendren Way.
Garage & basement cleanouts
A house, and nobody collecting.
Everything in a Jessamine estate clearout has to be driven to Hendren Way inside weekday hours. On a probate timetable that rarely works.
Estate cleanouts
Far more than a car will hold.
The volume alone rules out self-haul here. Crews who have done it before, and scheduling that does not announce itself.
Hoarding cleanouts
Not a Convenience Center job.
Renovation waste in volume is a truck and a dumpster question, not a weekday drop-off one.
Construction debris removalSelf-haul is the right answer for plenty of jobs and we will say so. These are the things that decide whether it is the right answer for yours: none of them is the tipping fee.
Weekdays, eight to four. For anyone working standard hours that means a day off, a long lunch, or it does not happen, and the clearout stalls in the garage for another month.
We schedule around you, including the Saturday the center is shut.
A three-seat sofa does not go in a saloon, and a chest freezer does not go in an estate. Self-haul quietly assumes a truck, a trailer or a friend who owes you one, plus someone on the other end to lift.
Two people and a truck already sized for it. Nothing has to reach the curb.
Most people plan a clearout as one trip and discover it is three. Three round trips to Hendren Way across three weekday afternoons is a different proposition from the one they agreed to.
Photograph the pile and send it. We will tell you honestly if it is one trip.
The same published ranges as the main junk removal service: a page about one city should not quote you a different number from the page about the service. You get a firm figure before anything starts.
One item, or two or three together. Curbside is the low end; upstairs or a tight doorway is the high end.
Priced on how much of the truck it fills, from a few items to multiple rooms' worth.
A single garage or partial basement through to a packed space or a whole-property clear.
PLACEHOLDER: three real Jessamine County jobs, before and after. Name the road or the part of the county and what was cleared in each caption; that detail is the part a competitor cannot copy.
CROWN’s own published list of the parts of Nicholasville and Jessamine County we work most often.
Outside Jessamine County? We haul across Central Kentucky: Lexington, Georgetown, Richmond, Frankfort, Winchester, Versailles and Paris. The collection rules described above are this city’s own, and across our eight towns no two of them are the same, which is the whole reason this page exists.
Very hard workers that cleaned out a whole house that was trashed and filthy. Very polite and considered. Would definitely recommend this company!
Very quick from contact to in home to remove some flooring. Once on site they got straight to work and did an outstanding job! Very reasonable price for the work done. Will continue to use them for all future needs.
Extremely helpful and nice, was hired for land clearing and site preparation they removed pesky honey suckle. Definitely going to hire them in the future.
If yours isn’t here, call: we’d rather answer it before you book than after.
Send photos with the address and the date. Same-day depends on what is already booked, so asking early in the day is what gets it done that day.
(859) 213-6077No. Jessamine County Environmental Services states that “the Convenience Center is a drop-off facility only to we do not offer pick-up service.” There is no municipal curbside bulky collection to ring for here. Whatever you need moved, somebody is driving it somewhere: the only question is who.
The Convenience Center at 123 Hendren Way, Nicholasville, KY 40356, open Monday to Friday 8AM to 4PM. Those hours are the catch for most households. If you can get there inside them with a vehicle that fits the load, self-haul is a perfectly good answer and cheaper than hiring us.
Not large ones. The published rule is that “size of cardboard and recycling pieces should be no larger than 2 feet x 2 feet,” and that paper “should be clean, dry and loose; never bag recyclables.” Breaking down a wardrobe box before you drive over saves a wasted trip.
Periodically. The county runs a County-Wide Clean-Up offering “free residential debris disposal.” If your timing lines up with it, take it: it costs you nothing. It runs on the county’s calendar rather than on your closing date, which is usually the problem.
No, and it is worth keeping them separate. The Shun Pike brush pile is for yard waste and has its own size cap; the Hendren Way Convenience Center is the household-waste facility. The brush side is covered on the Nicholasville page.
Yes, published in the price section above. Being straight about it: if you have one item, a truck and a free Wednesday, Hendren Way is cheaper than we are and we will tell you so. What we are for is the job that is three trips, a bad back, or a date.
Send two or three photos and the address. If it is one trip and you have the vehicle, we will say so. If it is three weekday afternoons you do not have, you get a firm number back within two hours, guaranteed.
