It depends on how you work, and we will tell you which suits rather than pushing one. A 15-yard dumpster is $280 to $540 with delivery and pickup included, and it sits on site for a standard 7 to 10 days while your crew loads it at their own pace. We are $100 to $640 and up, and we do the loading. If the waste appears steadily over a fortnight, take the dumpster. If it appears in one afternoon and has to be gone before the next trade, take us.
Can you work around our programme?
That is the whole point of this being a trade service rather than a household one. Tell us the date the site needs to be clear rather than the date you would like us there, and we schedule backwards from it. On a repeat account you get the same crew, who learn your sites and your access, which removes most of the phone calls after the first job.
Do you take treated lumber and roofing?
Yes to both, and treated lumber is worth a specific word: if the material came off a deck built before 2004 it is very likely CCA-treated, and EPA guidance is explicit that preservative-treated wood should not be burned in a residential setting. That rules out the disposal route people reach for first, which is a large part of why haul-off is a service rather than a favor. Roofing is heavy and prices on weight rather than volume.
What will you not take?
Crown’s published list is short: asbestos and regulated hazardous material, medical or biohazard waste, fuel, solvents and pressurised tanks, and standing trees over roughly twenty feet. Paint, chemicals and tires are taken at an additional charge rather than refused. On a renovation site the asbestos line is the one worth raising early: if the building is old enough for that to be a question, it needs answering before anyone loads anything.
