Siding, roofs, concrete, timber and commercial frontage do not want the same treatment. The price differences below are mostly method differences.

Revitalize fences, retaining walls, and other outdoor surfaces.
What fence and surface cleaning coversPublished ranges by surface. Square footage and how far gone it is decide where inside a range you land, and a photo settles both.
Siding, brick and rendered exteriors. Priced on elevations and stories rather than floor area.
Low pressure and a cleaning solution rather than force. Pitch and access move this one most.
Wood, composite and concrete. Timber takes longer because it takes less pressure.
Concrete, including oil staining and tire marks. The most visible result per dollar on this page.
Fences, retaining walls and other outdoor surfaces, usually priced by run rather than area.
Several surfaces on the same visit is one mobilization rather than several, so ask for them together: that is where the saving is. Having a deck or a structure taken out rather than cleaned is a demolition job.
The machine is the easy part. Knowing which surfaces can take it is the part that decides whether your roof still looks right in five years.
An asphalt shingle is protected by a layer of mineral granules bonded to its surface. Put a high-pressure lance on it and the granules come away with the algae: the roof looks clean and has lost part of what makes it weatherproof. Softwood decking furs up the same way, and older mortar joints wash out.
The result shows immediately, which is exactly why it gets away with it. The cost shows up years later.
Roofs and siding are soft washed: low pressure and a cleaning solution that does the work chemically, which is why Crown's roof service is called soft wash rather than pressure wash. Concrete and masonry take genuine pressure, because they can. Timber sits in between and is treated as timber.
Worth reading your own shingle warranty before anyone cleans your roof, whoever you hire: it is a short document and it is the one that pays out.
Very quick from contact to in home to remove some flooring. Once on site they got straight to work and did an outstanding job! Very reasonable price for the work done. Will continue to use them for all future needs.
Very hard workers that cleaned out a whole house that was trashed and filthy. Very polite and considered. Would definitely recommend this company!
Extremely helpful and nice, was hired for land clearing and site preparation they removed pesky honey suckle. Definitely going to hire them in the future.

Send a photo of the worst patch. Some staining cleans up completely and some does not, and we would rather tell you which before you book than after.
(859) 213-6077It is when the pressure matches the surface, and it is not when it does not. Siding and roofing are cleaned by soft washing (low pressure plus a cleaning solution), because high pressure forces water behind cladding and strips the mineral granules off asphalt shingles. Concrete and masonry can take real pressure. Timber sits in between. If somebody quotes the same method for your driveway and your roof, that is the thing to ask about.
For most homes in this climate, once every year or two keeps on top of it. Shaded and north-facing elevations grow algae faster than the sunny sides and often need it sooner, which is why one wall can look years older than the rest of the house. Waiting until it is obvious from the street usually means a longer, dearer job rather than a cheaper one.
Yes, as a soft wash, which is the method the service is named after. Moss, algae and the dark streaking on shingle roofs come off with a cleaning solution at low pressure rather than with force. Roof soft washing runs $250 to $600 and up; pitch and access move the price more than roof area does.
Most single-surface residential jobs (a driveway, a deck, a fence run) are a few hours. A whole-house wash is usually most of a day, and a roof soft wash depends on pitch and access more than on size. Several surfaces booked together take less time in total than the same surfaces booked separately, because most of the time on a small job is setting up and packing down.
For most exterior work, no: what is needed is access to the areas being cleaned, an outside water supply, and any side gates unlocked. Windows should be shut and anything that does not want a soaking moved off the deck or patio. Tell us when you book whether you plan to be there and we will confirm what your property needs either way.

Two or three photos of the worst of it and your ZIP is enough to price most cleaning jobs. Several surfaces on one visit is one mobilization, so send them all.
